Join us for a 50th
anniversary celebration of the Beatles' White Album! Released six
days before Thanksgiving, The White Album stands as one of the most important
and influential albums in rock history. A radical departure from the
psychedelic soundscapes they popularized in previous albums as Sgt. Pepper, the
White Album songs range from sinister ("Cry Baby Cry"), folk
("Mother Nature's Son"), social protest ("Piggies"),
disturbing ("Happiness Is a Warm Gun") to downright bizarre
("Revolution 9"). Presented by
Richard Flint, Faculty at College of DuPage.
